Martin John Gilman

Gilman was named New England's outstanding guard in 1928 while playing at the University of Connecticut. He was related to the pioneer Jewish founder of Gilman, Connecticut.

Career Highlights:
Gilman played guard at Connecticut in the mid-1920s. In his three year career, the Huskies had a combined record of 16-6-3. The 1926 team finished with a record of 7-1-0; their .875 winning percentage is tied for first all-time in UConn history.
