William T. Leffler

An offensive lineman for the University of Tennessee in the 1930s, Leffler started at guard in 1937. One of his teammates was fellow lineman Sam Levine.

Career Highlights:
Leffler played two seasons of varsity football for the Tennessee Volunteers. In 1936, Willie's first year on the team, the Vols ended the season with a record of 6-2-2 and ranked No. 17 in the nation (AP poll). The following season, Leffler stepped into the starting line-up as Tennessee finished the year 6-3-1.
