Benjamin B. Moses

Moses was a quarterback on the Syracuse University football team in the early 1920s. Among his teammates during his collegiate career were Harry Herbert, Mort Starobin, and Dave Ziff. In 1929, he was named honorable mention on the All-ZBT (Zeta Beta Tau - a Jewish fraternity) football team.

Career Highlights:
Moses played three seasons for Syracuse and helped lead them to some very successful season. In 1921, the Orangemen had a record of 7-2 and outscored their opponents, 194-59. The following year, they finished 6-1-2 and allowed only 41 points. Then, in Moses' senior season of 1923, they finished 8-1-0 and allowed only 19 points all season - 16 came in the team's only loss of the season to Colgate.
