Career Highlights:
Prior to Mandelkorn's only 'lettered' season at Navy, he was awarded the General Excellence Award during spring drills. While he played in 1933, Mandelkorn started at end in 1934 as a senior and helped the Midshipmen finish the season with a record of 8-1. Their only loss was to Pittsburgh and they defeated Army for the first time since 1921.
