Albert G. Hofheimer

A member of the University of Virginia football team in the mid-1920s, Hofheimer was named to the All-time ZBT football team in 1929, along with such greats as Joe Alexander and Harry Kallet. Hofheimer was also a member of Virginia's varsity tennis team.

Career Highlights:
Hofheimer played three seasons of varsity football at Virginia, although he only lettered during his junior season of 1927. During his sophomore season, the Cavaliers had a record of 6-2-2, but then dropped to 5-4 the following season. Then, devastated by injuries, Virginia had a disastrous 1928 season, finishing with a record of only 2-6-1.
