Fried, Richard

Fried was a member of the famed Hakoah-Vienna club in the 1920s. In 1927, he toured the United States with the club. The soccer team has been inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.

Fried, a halfback on both sides of the field, was one of Hakoah-Vienna's top players in the mid-1920s. Gifted with wonderful technique, Fried also played for the Austrian National team in the 1920s.
