Career Highlights:
Before his career at NYU, Sokolower played football at Morris High School in the Bronx. He then moved to NYU and was a four-year letterwinner and a teammate of fullback Reuben Bernstein. A starter for all four of his varsity seasons, Sokolower began as fullback/tackle as a freshman in 1914, played center in 1915, and then moved permanently to left tackle in 1916 and 1917.
