Olympic Info:
A defenseman for the Hungarian water polo team, Fazekas competed in two Olympiads. In 1912 at the Stockholm Games, he started both matches, but the Hungarians lost to Austria in the first round by a score of 5-4; the Austrians scored the game-winner in the final moments of the game. Hungary then lost to Belgium, 6-5, and officially finished fifth out of six teams. One of Tibor's teammates was starting forward Sandor Adam.

Twelve years later, at the age of 32, Fazekas returned to the Olympics at the 1924 Paris Games. Tibor started every game, and the Hungarians defeated Great Britain ,7-6, in the first round. Hungary then lost, 7-2, to Belgium (with Gerard Blitz, and Maurice Blitz) in the second round. The Hungarian team ultimately finished in fifth place again after winning one match and losing another in the consolation bracket.
