Moiseyev was a member of the Soviet Union ice hockey team at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France. During the tournament, the Soviets won their three preliminary games against Finland, East Germany, and the United States by a combined score of 27-2 (Moiseyev scored one goal against the U.S.). In the final round-robin pool, they then won three of four games (defeating West Germany, Sweden, and Canada) and finished first to capture the gold medal. Among Moiseyev's teammates were backup goalie Victor Zinger, forward Yevgeniy Zimin, and defenseman Vitaliy Davidov.

Career Highlights:
Moiseyev was a member of the Soviet Union's powerful Red Army ice hockey team in the 1960s and won a gold medal at the World Championships in 1968.
