Feldman was called up to the Texas Rangers in August 2005, joining the ranks of Jewish major leaguers. A right-handed pitcher who bats lefty, Scott was born in Kailua, Hawaii. He pitched for the College of San Mateo, a junior college in California, before turning pro. Feldman is making his second stint with the Rangers, but didn't pitch in his previous major league callup. He was 1-2 with a 2.06 ERA in 52 relief appearances for Class A Bakersfield and Frisco during the 2005 season.
