Goldberg played at Dickinson in the mid-1920s. Although the 1925 season ended with a mediocre record of 8-8, the 1926 team had a terrific 15-2 record. A center, Goldberg scored nine points in a 38-36 overtime victory over Penn that year. In 1927, Goldberg captained the Dickinson team to a record of 12-4.
