Pincus boxed professionally in the 1920s and most of his fights took place in the New York Metropolitan area. According to incomplete records, he won the majority of his fights in 1923 and 1924, including six-round decisions over Murray Layton, Moe Roth, and Jack Synder. In March 1925, Pincus fought Charley Phil Rosenberg and was knocked out in the 11th-round -- Rosenberg captured the world bantamweight title in his next fight.
