Career Highlights:
Born in Brooklyn, Feld began his professional career in 1940 when he was only 18 years old. He fought the majority of his fights in the Brooklyn area before defeating Russell Golding (a six-round decision) in Newark, New Jersey in September 1942. Feld fought a few more bouts that year before serving in World War II. He resumed his boxing career in 1946 and then went to the Midwest the following year. He fought a number of bouts before fighting middleweight contender Tommy Yarosz in July 1948. The bout took place in Cincinnati (Ohio) and Feld lost a ten-round decision.
