Grossman, Morris

The younger brother of Jack Grossman and Nat Grossman, Morris played as a back at Rutgers University in the mid-1930s and was named to the Jewish All-America team by the American Jewish World in 1935. He was also a member of the Rutgers basketball team.

Career Highlights:
After graduating from Rutgers Prep, Grossman followed his older brother, All-America back Jack Grossman to Rutgers University and in 1934, helped lead the Scarlet Knights to a 22-7 victory over NYU (New York University) late in the season with a 40-yard touchdown pass. Rutgers finished the season with a record of 5-3-1. The following season, the Scarlet Knights had a record of 4-5-0.
