A Canadian lightweight, Cantor fought professionally in the 1940s and 1950s.

Career Highlights:
Born in Toronto, Cantor fought as a lightweight. In 1946, he knocked out Tommy King in the second-round of a bout in Jersey City, New Jersey. Two years later, Cantor went to England and fought a series of bouts in the London. He went undefeated on his English tour, including an eight-round decision over Peter Fallon, a top contender for the British lightweight title.

In 1951, Cantor returned to Canada and competed for the Canadian lightweight title. That year, he fought Armand Savoie twice for the title. Both fights occured in Savoie's hometown of Montreal and went the distance, 12-rounds. Cantor lost both on decision. In 1953, he returned to England and won the majority of his fights there. He retired in the mid-1950s.
